EYP Sessions and Events
Ionian International Forum, Corfu 2012
location: Corfu, Greece
EYP Greece is proud to invite more than 150 young Europeans to Corfu for the 3rd International Forum of EYP Greece:
The Ionian International Forum, Corfu 2012.110 of them will participate as delegates and the others as officials. Corfu is an island in the Ionian Sea, and including its small satellite islands, forms the edge of the northwestern frontier of Greece. The Theme of the Forum is related to different European civilizations and to multilingualism. Therefore, the Forum also aims at promoting the use of both EYP official languages, English and French. Consequently, one of the committees will be francophone and if you wish you can ask to be its member! All the resolutions and the speeches in the General Assembly will be professionally translated from English to French and vice versa with the use of headphones.Although almost every activity of the Forum is going to take place in Corfu town, the participants will be accommodated in a small island opposite the town of Corfu, where the Municipal Campus lies and will be available only for our events! Teambuilding will be held there as well! This is what inspired the organizing committee to think of the quote “Two Islands, One Session”.
Applications for delegates are open until Tuesday, June 28th until 23:59 CET. Applications for officials will open very soon. We will notify you of any other information via our website and our Facebook Page. Delegates are asked to arrive on August 21st and departure takes place on August 29th all day long. The participation fee for delegates is 80€ per delegate, including full board (except committee dinner and other minor expenses), accommodation, transportation during the session and all events. However, the participants will have to cover their travel costs by themselves.
The application forms for delegate are available at http://corfu12.eypgreece.org/apply/
