TOMIS FORUM 2012-2

location: Eforie Nord-Constanta, Romania
description:

The European Youth Parliament TOMIΣ FORUM 2012-2 will take place in Constanta, the oldest living city in Romania, founded around 600 BC. For centuries Constanta was known as TΟΜΙΣ and experienced the Greek, Macedonian, Roman or Turkish occupation, which explains now the fact that here we can ind more minorities recognized by Romanian law than anywhere else in 


Europe (besides Romanian here live together in peace Turkish, Greeks, Ukrainians, Tatars, Macedo-Romanians, Armenians, Russians, Gypsies, Jewish, Bulga-rians and others). 


The city is located in the Dobrogea region of Romania, on the Black Sea coast. 100 youngsters from European countries will celebrate the European Year for Active Ageing and Solidarity Between Generations -2012 under the motto “TΟΜΙΣ: A multicultural example for Europe!”, combining the typical EYP program with cultural, sports events, trips and even relaxing time, as well as enjoying the summer sun while discovering the beauty of Romanian beaches.
