SUNational Session in Sumy

From 10th to 13th September 2009 EYP Ukraine will hold the National Selection Conference in Sumy (Eastern Ukraine). Sumy is famous for great Summer Sessions, and this year it is the first time this city is going to hold a National Selection Session. The topic of the National Selection Session of the European Youth Parliament Ukraine in 2009 will focus on the ways of minimizing the consequences of the economics crisis on Ukraine and searching the best solutions out of it.
100 delegates (from all over Ukraine and international delegations) will take part in this outstanding event. Ukrainian delegates will compete for places in Ukrainian delegations at two international sessions in autumn 2009 and in spring 2010 as well as to other international EYP events.
The eight Committees will be chaired by chair pairs - one Ukrainian, one international Chair. The aim behind this is to give inexperienced chairs a possibility to gather experience of chairing without being thrown in at the deep end. By this we hope to give the possibility to get in touch with the challenging task of being a chair also to newcomers.
The Team of officials is asked to arrive on 9th of September before 5 p.m. in order to take part in a big Officials Teambuilding (Orgas, Chairs and Journos) and the Chairs-Training. As well chair pairs will need to provide their delegates with a prepared topic overview.
EYP-Ukraine is looking for chairs, editor, and journalists to participate in the SUN National Selection.
