2nd EYP-Ukraine Inter-Rail Tour

Beschreibung:

EYP-Ukraine is extremely happy to announce the Call for Chairs for the second EYP-Ukraine Inter-rail Tour that will take place all over Ukraine during September 3-6, 2009!  

5 teams of officials (5 people each, 25 altogether) will sail off, or better say ‘rail off’ to 5 different regions in Ukraine holding a mini-session in both of the region’s two cities. The regions are as follow:  

1) WEST 1: Lutsk – Rivne

2) WEST 2: Chernivtsi – Khmelnytskyi

3) CENTRE: Kirovograd – Zhytomyr

4) SOUTH: Sevastopol – Kherson

5) NORTH: Sumy – Chernihiv 

Each team of officials will spend 2 days in each city and then move to the next city using a train or a bus. In each city there will be a two-day mini EYP-session held, which will include Teambuilding, Committee Work and General Assembly and gather around 40 participants per city. Altogether one team will hold two mini-sessions – one after another.  

Due to the format of this project there will be no journalists at the sessions.  

Each team will consist of 4 chairs and 1 organiser.  

There will be NO participation fee for officials!!! (Travel expenses within Ukraine are covered. Travel to Ukraine may be reimbursed in case we have financial resources for that – this will be know within 1-2 weeks). 

 Before the start of the tour all officials will gather in Kyiv on Wednesday, September 2, 2009, for Officials Teambuilding. And then each team will get on a train to their first city, accompanied by a Ukrainian organiser. The officials should return to Kyiv on September, 7. Accommodation in Kyiv for extra nights can be arranged.

Completed forms should be sent to inter.rail2009@eyp-ua.org no later than Wednesday, August 5, 2009. All applicants will be notified of the selection results by Saturday, August 8, 2009.
