Tampere 2012 – 18th National Session of EYP Finland

EYP Finland will organise its 18th National Session in Tampere on 13–16 January 2012. The session will gather some 200 participants to discuss and debate some of the most pressing issues of our time. There will be delegations from both Finland and abroad and an international team of officials. The session will be presided by Mr Andris Šuvajevs (LV).
Tampere 2012 challenges young people to think what they – and any ordinary citizen – can do to promote positive change in their societies. We believe that change in a variety of issues is also possible little by little, not only by the will of the high and mighty: In our every-day lives, we make decisions that affect our societies and the environment in a profound way.
The Finnish delegations to take part in the event will be selected at the three Regional Sessions of EYP Finland in October–November 2011. At the National Session, delegations will be selected to represent Finland at the International Sessions in Istanbul and Amsterdam and a number of other events all around Europe.
