Dear EYPers!
On behalf of EYP Poland we are happy to invite you to Wrocław, European Capital of Culture 2016 between 6th-11th March 2012 for Culture Yourself! 19th Regional Session of EYP Poland. As in previous years, session will be held in our innovative concept: unique, innovative, challenging... We must say that we are really excited about it. First of all, there is no usual emphasis on individual committee allocation. Instead, we perceive all session participants as one big group. This means that during the Team Building delegates and officials are hardly divided into any groups: we play, sing, think and have fun together as much as possible. Only later do we split into smaller groups, so that we can get to know better those with whom we will be working in the Committee Work. During the Committee Work each delegate is a member of two discussion groups (similar to familiar committees); they switch from one group to the other one in turns.
Organising a session in Wroclaw, the European Capital of culture 2016, we could not pass over the city´s cultural potential. Concerts, shows, plays, exhibitions are daily basis of Wroclawians´ life. This is why we’ve decided to cross the previous EYP sessions borders, and instead of the second day of teambuilding, organise cultural workshops under the title of Culture Yourself!. This will be something new, a space for all participants not only to discus art, but to create it themselves. Meet the artists, converse with the movie makers, dance, play, sing, focus on the other side of you, this is what Culture Yourself provides. Get ready for a day filled with cultural workshops with your session mates, Euroconcert and Eurovillage!
Also, we are happy to announce that session will be presided by Mr. Riann Stipp.
Now, we are looking for Vice-presidents, chairs and journalists (call for officials is open till 7th February). Participation fee for officials is 20 euros. Soon after this, call for delegates will opened as well - so if you wish to send a delegation to Wrocław - let us know & stay updated!
